Perfect for getting fit, and staying motivated!

Penguie, Amazon
20 October 2012
  • Summary: I never did yoga before I got this game. As a complete beginner, I found it easy, and informative to get acquainted with yoga, and all the poses! It takes you step by step in getting into, and out of poses, and informs you how to make the pose stronger while you do it. The instructor is very well paced. You will never find yourself rushing to catch up, or annoyed by slowing down.

Great for beginners to intermediate!

C. Burnett "Cari", Amazon

  • Summary: I used to do yoga everyday, following a DVD, however I stopped for about 6 months because I became really busy at work. I always missed it, and now that I have this game I can squeeze it in anytime. This game is great for beginners, but I see alot of advanced moves too to keep anyone happy. I highly recommend this game, it's very user friendly.

Fun yoga time

emifin, Amazon

  • Summary: This is good for a beginner yoga person who wants to learn the poses. This will help you if you take a yoga class as it explains the poses and how to hold them. If you are advanced, then you know how to do yoga and how to do a practice and this will not do much for you. It's also fun to do with your children and easy for them to follow.

Great way to learn yoga!

  • Summary: This game does a very good job of telling you how to do the poses and learn yoga. The only problem is the simple fact that you cannot see the screen while doing many of the poses...

a fun way to do yoga!

Justin, Amazon
19 August 2009
  • Summary: The instructor goes a little fast in the actual session, but they have so many opportunities to break down the steps in practices that you will be fine. I was able to learn more technical nuances of the poses from this game than I could from a large class because in the game you can zoom in even to see the angle of the instructor's feet (however, unlike a class, you don't have a person to correct you if you're doing the pose wrong!).

  • Summary: I am a yoga beginner and this DS game is perfect!!! It's easy to understand, and I love the 360 degree ability to check out each pose! I am addicted to this and feel better when I complete a program.

Yoga for anyone and everyone.

Cesar A. "Cesar A.", Amazon
8 January 2009
  • Summary: First off, I am a beginning yoga user. I became interested in yoga after I developed lower back problems (herniated discs) and was advised that yoga could help to minimize the pain and relieve pressure on my back. (Personally yoga has helped me, but that is up to each person.) Prior to this game I had gone to a couple of yoga classes at my local 24 Hour Fitness gym, but due to scheduling conflicts I couldn't really make it too often.

  • Summary: This is an enjoyable way to gain yoga instruction without paying a hefty studio price. The graphics are excellent and the five minute yoga sessions are perfect for a busy person's work day.

A slightly flawed gem

Damon D, Amazon
15 November 2008
  • Summary: Personally I love this program, and I use it just about every day, but I want to point out a few frustrating oversights. (1) The box might as well say "No Boys Allowed". There are no male avatars and many of the short routines are female-specific, like how to improve one's bustline. (2) Ironically (from a Western sense at least), despite being a very feminine game, the instructions freely throws around indelicate terms like "anus", "constipation", and "gas.

Yoga where you want, when you want

Zora, Amazon
7 September 2008
  • Summary: I am a big fan of Let's Yoga. With my busy schedule, having the flexibility of doing yoga wherever I am and whenever I have the time is a huge motivator. The game itself is very easy to understand. You can pick from quick Yoga lessons (anywhere from 3 minutes). You can also do yoga lessons with the "yoga master". Although you do get introduced to new yoga poses this way, the Yoga master lessons are my least favorite part of Let's Yoga.
