Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (DS): Don't bother with the DS version
8 January 2009
Summary: I really enjoyed playing this game on the xbox and so I decided to buy the DS version thinking it would be fun to play and good to take on train trips. The lego star wars games recreate the star wars experience in a humorous way. The DS game however cannot replicate this. The Nintendo DS is not designed to handle 3d games and high quality sound, which is something other versions of the game benefit from.
Pros: I can't really think of any having had no fun playing this game
Cons: A good game has been ruined by trying to get it out as quickly as possible
Summary: This game looked pretty cool when it came out. I'm not a big star wars fan, but the whole lego take on the franchise looked like fun, and this would be a fun game if not for the fact the game is horribly bug-ridden. Bad camera placement, characters/vehicles that disappear, horribly slow game play when there's lots of action, and even the game freezing up altogether and requiring a reboot of the DS! Don't get ripped off like I did.
Excerpt: Decepcionante.
