LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Review (PS Vita)
9 April 2012
Summary: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is an adequate title that doesn't really take advantage of the PS Vita. Fans of Harry Potter will love to return to the magical universe, but everyone else will probably get bored.
Pros: Cute character models and Lego charm, Good music, Plenty to collect
Cons: Weak gameplay, little use of Vita features, Poor graphics, A LEGO game without multiplayer
Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 Review (PlayStation Vita)
23 March 2012
Excerpt: If you’ve seen one Lego game, you’ve seen them all, right? Well, not as of late. Travellers Tales has been tweaking its last few titles to provide a little more depth, such as Lego Pirates of the Caribbean and Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars . And with Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes promising to be the biggest one yet, we’re pleased to see the team isn’t running aground on the usual ideas. Now it’s made its debut on the PlayStation Vita with Lego Harry Potter...
Excerpt: It was the end of an era when the Harry Potter books and movies were finished. Now, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 concludes that landmark series as well. This finale to LEGO Harry follows the same blueprint that all the LEGO movie-based games do. Collect a ton of studs. Build bridges and vehicles to get from one place to another. Solve puzzles, such as finding an escaped toad for a wizard. Begin in a playground featuring some slides and a seesaw.
Pros: Lots of spell casting; fun puzzles to solve; beautiful environments.
Cons: Repetitive gameplay; nonplayable characters get stuck on each other; no online play.
Conclusion: The cheeky humour and robust brick-based action is still present in this latest LEGO game, but the magic of the earlier releases is beginning to fade, making for a game that's strictly for fans of the IP it's based on
Excerpt: There’s no more books and no more films, so it’s a welcome sight to see the second installment of the LEGO Harry Potter games hit our shelves. Yet another LEGO game of a popular movie franchise hits our shelves, and I can see how some people could get bored by the amount that are out there. But these games are just too damn fun. So what makes LEGO Harry Potter years 5-7 different from the rest and worth your money?
Conclusion: Talven toivelistalla monella on paljon lunta ja tämä peli. Eivätkä he ihan pahasti pety.
