  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: Half Val Kilmer, Half Christian Bale, the formula is looking a tad trite and jaded. Too apathetic for many but fans and kids alike will still find its cute and simplistic ways endearing enough. The series is teetering now; Traveller's Tales have a decision to make: stick to counting their monies or push it out for the inevitable next venture. Our suggestion would be to go all out and deliver the sandbox Lego 'Allo Allo' that the world is waiting for.

  • Summary: Despite a stellar cast, Lego Batman crumbles under too much scrutiny.
  • Pros: Great cast of characters, interesting weaponry, loads of achievements.
  • Cons: Terrible AI, same old glitches, annoying sound effects, poor level design.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame

Nintendo World Report
12 October 2008
  • Summary: This simple 3D platformer is more about collecting than building.
  • Pros: Cheaper than a babysitter and will last more than one night, Dual-character design is mildly engaging
  • Cons: Bloated with collectables and worthless unlockable content, More a time-waster than a fun game, Story doesn't recreate the Batman films, TV series, or comics
