Perfect for tiny hands to learn how to type!

RaptorGirl, amazon.co.uk
17 August 2014
  • Summary: Perfect for my Pokémon-obsessed 7yo! He hardly even realises that this is like work! The gradually increasing challenge matches his progress and improvement over the course of the game and, while he seemed to want to rush through, the award of medals at each stage made it easy to convince him to master each level before progressing to the next.

  • Summary: This game never made it to my side of the world, and I'm not clear why. Using the keyboard with the Nintendo DS is extremely fun! It's a great learning experience for anyone trying to improve typing skills!

Hugely addictive and challenging game, with a superb keyboard to boot!!

  • Summary: I purchased this game after trialling it at the Pokemon Summer Tour - I was initially skeptical of how well an educational Pokemon game would work, but it turns out this game is immensly satisfying to play. Levels start out relatively easy, teaching you to type single letters and numbers. Quickly though, the difficulty starts to pick up, especially as you start to aim for gold stars.

A fun way to acquire a skill for life

Zorua "Mantis", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Purchased this for my son as he's a bit of a pokemon fan. After a few hours, he has improved his touch typing skills and his typing is much more accurate now. This will help him when he does his homework as the schools are now insisting on printed work to be handed in. He's had this for a couple of weeks and still plays with it. A bonus is that the included keyboard is bluetooth so you can use it for your tablet/computer as well.

Good value, great concept...but a little dull.

  • Summary: I bought this to encourage my six year old to type. He's pokemon obsessed, and we've spent hours playing the various card and video games. This product seemed an ideal way to harness the power of pokemon for education purposes...but sadly results have been mixed. The keyboard (included) is great - just the right size for little hands, and it doesn't feel cheap or tacky at all. It connects to the DS flawlessly, and the whole thing is simple to use and responsive.

This amazing Keyboard

Chris Wildi, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: I bought this primarily for the keyboard and it doesn't disappoint. Very stylish little thing, totally compatible with my Android phone and also with my laptop once i added a bluetooth adaptor to it. It's nintendo as well so it'll probably outlast both by a long way. It's a little smaller than the average keyboard that you'd find on a laptop so it might take you a little while to adapt.
