Summary: This is a great learning tool for 3DS! We need more educational programs for the young learner in stead of so many games. Educational software help young students to suceed at learning in the classroom!
Summary: My son is finishing first grade and, despite other reviewers' comments, the skills covered in the "easy" section are very appropriate for his level. He has found the games to be both challenging and fun! Despite the fact that he is an excellent reader, though, the fact that the personal coaches do not speak aloud is frustrating to him. The directions, while not difficult to comprehend, are a bit too difficult for him to read independently.
Summary: This is an excellent game for teaching and reinforcing math skills, but it may not be suitable for all children. My 7 yr old daughter liked it initially, but found some of the activities too challenging since she hasn't learned how to work those problems yet at school, and her attention span is still a bit short. Highly recommended, but only if your child is the type that is happy to sit and work through problems without getting frustrated when things aren't easy.
Summary: I bought this for my 6 yr old nephew. He had a blast playing with it. It does have reading involved for directions, so if I hadn't been there, he wouldn't have know what to do. But, overall, he really liked playing the games. Different levels are involved-from easy to difficult.
Summary: I was looking for a game that can also help my 9 year old daughter improve her math skills. This game meets the entire math curriculum in grade 4 and she enjoys playing/learning with her DS. It makes learning more fun for her and she can keep track of how well she does. More importantly, I can keep track of her progress. I am looking forward to her report card this Christmas.
Summary: Every night we practice some type of homework for school. If we do not have assigned work then we break out this game. She loves working the problems. It is a nice break from the paper pencil workout.
