Summary: i picked this out for my daughter to help her with her math. She is now even more upset by math. i am even more upset at the idea of math. this is not fun, and does not help with learning math. This was not even near a first grade level.
Summary: I got this for my 1st grader because the description and the packaging states "For Grades 1-4" but when put in the DS to play, the only options are for grades 2-5. After going through some of the problems I believe he will still be able to use this, but I am disappointed. This would be Nintendo problem. As for the seller, the game came very timely and packaged well.
Summary: This will be a game that my child will grow into. She loves to play it, but is not able to do much with it right now without any help. Even the easiest addition involves adding 2 digit numbers, which are also laid out in a horizontal line. Putting them vertically over one another makes it much easier for a child to do the math in their head. However, overall, this game has many different aspects that will be great learning tools.
Summary: After reading some great reviews of this game, I had high hopes of being able to use it with my boys in 2nd and 3rd grade to help reinforce their math skills. Neither of them seemed enthusiastic about it, so I sat down myself to give it a try. I went to the 3rd grade multiplication section, and immediately had issues with it.
