Kung Zhu

  • Excerpt: The Nintendo DS box for Kung Zhu looks a smidgen different than most Nintendo DS boxes. The reason is a Kung Zhu toy (editor: Tull) comes with the hand held game. Which is a really cool cross promotion. If you are into Kung Zhu that is. Those not into the cute militant hamsters will not give the package a second look. The core of Kung Zhu is side scrolling levels where the player fights their way to the end.

Violent combat is a huge contrast to previous Zhu games.

  • Summary: Parents need to know that Kung Zhu may be a Zhu Zhu Pets game, but that it is nothing like the Zhu Zhu Pets your children already know and love. This combat heavy game is an effort to get action-hungry boys interested in the Zhu Zhu Pets franchise. To that end, the hamsters here are all cast as violent warriors who weild massive weapons and battle hundreds of enemies.

  • Conclusion: Kung Zhu ist ein klassisches 2D Prügelspiel.
