Very cool!

  • Summary: My son-in-law just received his DS for Christmas, and immediately added this to his Wish List. I got it for his birthday, and he played music for me as soon as he opened it. He used it at church on Sunday to accompany his trombone solo. Wonderful!

I got a 3DS XL to use this.

  • Summary: KORG DS-10 Plus cartridge, Rhythm Core Alpha 2 and KORG M01D from the eShop is simply awesome. KORG DS-10 Plus is still a sweet piece of software and I probably play with it more than M01D. I'm really happy with it.

FL -competitive package in mobile and low learning curve environment (DS)!!

new_voodoo_design_n_customs, Ebay
7 October 2013
  • Summary: if you are looking at this then you know what a software synth is, and, should know--what Fruity Loops is. (whether you like it or not) This is easily the match of the basic FL package. Its got synths, FX, and drum synths and more!! All cntrollable in the familiar ways as well as with the (hence the reference to FL) "piano roll" type grid/step sequencer means. I cannot stress how MUCH this is worth the 10-20$ youll pay for it.

Great little synth and sequencer put my ds to some good use!

  • Summary: This is a great little tool I use with my electronic drums. This is really fun to use for live performances and experimenting. I recommend it to anyone who likes to try new things or wants a cheap synth/drum machine/kaosillator.

Great startup synth for aspiring musicians

Vanessa Kindell, Amazon
29 May 2013
  • Summary: Great startup synth for aspiring musicians, offers plenty of features to make songs. While it's obviously pretty simple being on the DS, it offers enough tools for some quick on-the-go compositions.

It's a fun toy, but very impractical for actual music.

17 May 2013
  • Summary: This is a fun way to learn about synths, and a good way to spend a road trip. You can get a lot of different sounds out of it, but the composing / sequencing tool is hard to use, especially if you want to change timbres. The various synth controls can be automated via a sequencing channel, but not to the same resolution that you could do from the knobs.

Reliving the '80s

jumperboy, Amazon
22 January 2013
  • Summary: As an old fart Flock of Seagulls wannabe that did extensive multitrack recordings using nothing but a Korg MS-20 back in the '80s, this thing has been a blast! The sound is dead-on accurate. I only wish it had MIDI so I could play it with a keyboard.
