Summary: This is a great little tool I use with my electronic drums. This is really fun to use for live performances and experimenting. I recommend it to anyone who likes to try new things or wants a cheap synth/drum machine/kaosillator.
Summary: Great startup synth for aspiring musicians, offers plenty of features to make songs. While it's obviously pretty simple being on the DS, it offers enough tools for some quick on-the-go compositions.
It's a fun toy, but very impractical for actual music.

Summary: This is a fun way to learn about synths, and a good way to spend a road trip. You can get a lot of different sounds out of it, but the composing / sequencing tool is hard to use, especially if you want to change timbres. The various synth controls can be automated via a sequencing channel, but not to the same resolution that you could do from the knobs.
Summary: As an old fart Flock of Seagulls wannabe that did extensive multitrack recordings using nothing but a Korg MS-20 back in the '80s, this thing has been a blast! The sound is dead-on accurate. I only wish it had MIDI so I could play it with a keyboard.
Such a good piece of software for what it is (a DS cart)

Summary: I've been having a great time blasting some synths on my 3DS with this. It's a really great introductory program for those unfamiliar with synths, sequencing, or beat creation. It's really great to have on the go and it's even better than a lot of fancier stuff for tablets, notebooks etc, I find because of its generally useful layout.
Summary: If you are into making music (in this case I will assume you are into either a techno style of music or chiptunes.) then you really can't beat the feeling of making sounds on authentic hardware. yes, every sound you make on this, can easily be made on a computer with some vst's BUT....when you make a song on your ds, and record it onto your computer (into a daw. any one will work fine). then you have music from an authentic piece of hardware.
Quality product for a specialized digital sound production exploration.

Summary: Basically, with this synthesizer, the idea I got going with is to: 1)set-up a beat to play a rhythm... 2)find a tune with the keyboard, while the rhythm is going at the speed you set-up... 3) change the vibe you want to get by changing the options... 3b) you could set-up more than rhythm, but so-far I have been happy with quick 5minute beat/tune sessions, then call it a day. I don't know how to record yet, but I have computer audio recording software.
Summary: It's a great little synth and works wonderful with the DSi XL. I can really recommend this product to anyone with some experience with synthesizers. The interface can be a little tricky at first though, but you'll get a hang of it after some practice.
Summary: I got the DSI XL mainly just for this program and have not been disappointed. I am amazed at all the functions and levels it has. I am still learning about all its possibilities, but even if it just did what I have already found that it does and stopped there, it would be worth it. I would highly recommend getting this very inexpensive plug in and learn from experience what all those dials do to sounds, learning how to craft your own synth sounds.
Cannot sync tempo, but fun to mess around with. Neat instrument.

Summary: It's cool but I've ended up not doing much with it. You could conceivably plug it in a mixer and add it to a song, but I don't know if I will even use it for that. It's neat to mess around with.
