An improverished man's Guitar Hero

Kevin Roche, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Initially interesting it quickly becomes tedious. This is a very much reduced Nintendo DS attempt at the wonderful Guitar Hero game but doesn't approach the quality or playability of that game. There is, at most, 5 hours of playtime as it is quite repetitive and the higher levels are very difficult to attain. Perhaps the DS format just doesn't cut it for this type of game.

Raspberry Jam

  • Summary: I initially had high hopes for Jam with the Band. It sounded like Guitar Hero and Singstar all rolled in to one. I should have known my hopes would be dashed at such a low price. The game is introduced by a female bat character who is supposed to be seductive (or so I assume) but just ends up being a bit grating. Pretty soon you're given an introduction to playing a song. This is when things start going wrong.
