  • Excerpt: Mary Sue-ism is a term that I'm sure many of you are familiar with. For those who are not, a Mary Sue is a fictional character who's basically a Little Miss Perfect with zero flaws who exists purely for an author's wish-fulfillment fantasies. Many fanfic (short for "fan fiction") writers are notorious for creating Mary Sue versions of themselves in their stories.

InuYasha: Secret of the Divine Jewel

  • Conclusion: The soundtrack isn’t quite so bad, but not great. The show features some brilliant songs, most especially its opening/ending tracks. The game, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to share any of this inspiration. It does feature pretty decent feudal era-sounding tunes that do actually seem fitting; it’s just that the sound isn’t up to par with the inspiration from the show. Sound effects are also technically limited.
