Summary: My 9-year-old daughter LOVES this game. Purchased to help her learn the games rules. She played it for hours the first day she received it and continues to be excited and involved in the game. She came to me to talk about how it showed good teamwork and how her team helped one of the "mean girls" change her attitude. Good stuff!
Summary: This game is amazing! You get to be on a team, which you are captain of, and play against other teams, including the Novas, and others. You design your team's shirts, cleats, sweatbands, socks, and jewlery. Also you can name your team and pick it's colors.Mia Hamm is the coach! Go,Go,Go! This game is totally worth the money!
Summary: My 9 year old daughter is very happy with this game. Would recommend for avid soccer playing girls age 7-12. Nice to have soccer game that allows female players to be the stars. My daughter feels dealing with the "problem" player is very realistic given the higher level club soccer she plays in real life. She also enjoys "interacting" with Mia Hamm, the team coach. Daughter has medium experience with DS games and did not have any trouble picking up this game on her own.
Summary: I bought this game because it was cheep and looked fun.It is super fun, but it's pretty simple. You can make your own uniform and name the players. You will not think you wasted your money on this game. I'm a soccer player in real life.I am a nine year old girl.
Summary: I am so happy they finally made a good sports game for young girls! My daughter loves this game which not only allows you to play soccer games but lets you manage the team as well. She is very excited that she has been able to interact with the likes of Mia Hamm. It's interesting to hear her talk about the comings and goings of players and how excited she gets when playing each game. I highly recommend it for younger soccer players!
Summary: This was bought for my 8 year old granddaughter as she specifically asked for this game for Christmas. I have watched her have many hours of enjoyment with it on her DS. When asked for feedback she said "It's great. You know I play it all the time." Her 2 sisters (ages 10 and 12)borrow it often so I know they really like it also.
Summary: I bought this game for my 9 year-old daughter who loves to play soccer. She really enjoys playing the game. She never gets bored playing and loves that it is a game for girls where things can be somewhat customized. It is definitely one of her favorite games.
Summary: I'm a huge fan of the Imagine games and have everyone of them and have pre-ordered the ones waiting to be released and I can say this may have not been on of the best, but it was far from being the worst. In the game, you are the captain of a soccer team and it's your job to lead your team to victory. The game-play is good and you can choose the difficulty and length, in minutes, of each game before you play it.
Summary: Our 9 year old daughter was thrilled to see the "Imagine: Soccer Captain" game on DS. She's an avid soccer player; and the features of the game sounded great. However, some of the kids on the game talk really snotty and rude. This game doesn't demonstrate teamwork and positive feedback, as the kids today are being coached in real life. We were very disappointed and finally had to turn off the game because the words in it were not sportsmanlike at all.
