  • Summary: This game is okay it's easy but boring and there's lots of talking the computer does most of your tasks for you which is fine if you're little but annoying if you are an older person .The only reason I got this was because I'm getting every ds cooking game

Cooking games rock!

Heather Martin, Amazon
25 January 2010
  • Summary: I love cooking games so when this came out I had to have it. It took me two tries but I beat the game with total perfection second time. Not saying that was easy to do just saying that is how determined I was to win. Story line is cute. And you get cute prizes along the way. This game is worth the purchase.

great cooking game for young kids

P. Shontz "pshontz", Amazon
28 February 2009
  • Summary: My 6-yr-old loves this game more than any of her other DS games. There is a fair amount of reading required, and sometimes the dialogue slows down the action. But the activities and pace seem to be geared more toward younger kids -- there is no timer like Cooking Mama (this was the feature my daughter liked the most). After you finish the story one time, you can choose any recipe in freestyle mode to repeat it as much as you like.

Good for 9yo girls

Lanny B. "L.A.B.", Amazon
8 January 2009
  • Summary: I bought this for my 9yo daughter and she loves it. She plays it frequently. It is perfect for her because it allows her to feel as if she is learning cooking skills. My 10yo son hates it and thinks it is way too girly.

Great for little ones

Momma Lynn, Amazon
27 December 2008
  • Summary: I got this for my 6 yr old girl, and she hasn't put it down yet. I wouldn't recommend this for adults who want to try new recipes because most of the foods so far as pretty simple, and you have to get through levels to get to them. BUT, for little ones who just want to play around and have fun mixing, chopping, dicing, learn how to set the oven and timers and such, it's a wonderful begining tool for them. Would totally recommend this.

Stick With Cooking Mama

Tiffany, Amazon
10 December 2008
  • Summary: I was really excited to play this game I thought it would be just as good as Cooking Mama. I was wrong. There is no challenge to the game and it is very repetitive. There's only about 15 dishes you can cook. The game has some mini games, but nothing spectacular. I beat the game less than 2 hours. After you pass the game they give you recipes. This game might be good for younger kids. As an adult aspect stick with Cooking Mama.

Oh my word, this warrants no stars.

  • Conclusion: Pity Cooking Mama. When they tell you imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, you should be proud that someone would want to imitate you.
