Summary: I have an 8 year old who loves art! She even takes classes and does some neet things. She is very impressed by this game and spends alot of time doing the projects it has. Very good for any kid interested in the arts!
Summary: When ordering this game, or any 3rd party merchandise, double-check the price you'll pay, especially if you order from someone's wish list. Prices from 3rd party vendors vary all over the place and you may end up paying much more than you intended. On this game, the price displayed was $14.68 and we ended up paying $38.18, an increase of 160%. At the time of this posting, is was over $50.
Summary: I love this game! It teaches you basic art techniques and then you get to practice them with projects and mini-games! It doesn't bore me and the projects are fun and somewhat easy to do. You get to work with different tools and endless varieties of colors that you can mix yourself! At the end of every "day", you do a big project based on what you learned that "day". I absolutely love this game and I don't want to put it down!
Summary: My daughter actually wanted the a different art game for her DS. But, after reviewing other reviews and considering her age of 11, I thought this one was more appropriate for her. The other was geared toward ages 3-8. She loves this game and plays it often and said she is glad I got this one instead. Great buy!
Summary: A year ago, as Sara's Oma, I did not have a clue what a DS Nintendo was. I still do not know how it works but I do know that our Granddaughter loves to play games on it. I felt the Artist game was a good choice. She has always been interested in art and art projects. I felt it was "educational" and not just another competitive game.
