The cover of the box makes this seem like a fun cute pony game

Catbirdy, Amazon
5 July 2014
  • Summary: The cover of the box makes this seem like a fun cute pony game, but it's not at all. You're at this dull horse academy and you have to keep your grades up and create a restrictive schedule each day while taking care of your horse. The controls are awful and I can't get past the basic levels of the dressage because the things they tell you to draw to do the moves don't work! It's a game that gets boring and repetitive fast and I wish I could give it no stars, honestly.

it wasn't very good

J. Pechan, Amazon
7 July 2013
  • Summary: i was so excited to get this game. when i started playing it,I realized you just do the same things over and over again. they don't give you anything to do. also when your in the middle of a jumping and cross country routine, your horse stops and you'll have to make it go over and over again.the dressage thing was just weird. that is not how you would do dressage.the price is way to high for this terrible game.if i were you,i would not get this game. it's not worth it.

uncoiledwand157, Amazon
24 November 2012
  • Summary: I'M 10 YEARS OLD I REALLY LOVE THIS GAME BECAUSE YOU CAN RIDE HORSES AND TAKE CARE OF THEM LIKE YOU CAN BRUSH YOUR HORSES AND HOSE DOWN YOUR HORSES. THIS IS THE BEST HORSES GAME I EVER PLAYED. I LIKE IT FOR A ANOTHER REASON TOO IT IS VERY REALISTIC. SO I RECOMMEND YOU GET THIS GAME IF YOU ARE A HORSES LOVER BUT IF YOUR NOT A HORSES LOVER THIS GAME WOULD BE HORRIBLE FOR YOU.

complicated, but worth it.

uncoiledwand157, Amazon
7 April 2012
  • Summary: I just got this, and to be honest I like Horsez 2 better. This one is more complicated and takes more determination. I would NOT recommend this for a young kid. It would be great for those teenagers who loves horse but you dont want to buy them one. Get this game for them instead, this will keep them busy!

Confusing at First

August George Stoll, Amazon
20 July 2011
  • Summary: Horsez was very confusing at first. The jumping wasn't all that hard but it was the dressage. It's usually the dressage. Then the game has another feature where you train the foal. I don't know about anyone else, but it seemed almost impossible to me.

Fun when you know what you need to know

Amazon
8 June 2011
  • Summary: This is game is fun once you know what you need to know. The first thing is dressage. Dressage is the hardest and is NOT very well explained so I will. There are signs that you make in the game they tell you to go to the library but i didn't find it very helpful. The sign for Trot is O all though V also works. The sign for Gallop is G but that didn't always work for me. Walk is S, flying charge is V, piaffe is z.It took me years to figure that out.
