Wonderful game, but not for everyone

malhaku, Amazon
15 July 2014
  • Summary: I highly enjoyed this game, but it hits me right in the sweet spot. I love action puzzle games (Tetris, Dr. Mario, Puzzle League, etc) and I love precision 2D platformers. This game is both. It is very challenging and almost 50/50 both styles of game play. This game is definitely not for everyone (which is why I give it 4 stars).

  • Summary: The first time I got my hands on the game I could hardly put it down. It made a great traveling time killer. Looks simple enough but the level gradually gets harder and ups the challenge. The feeling of upgrading the armor and watching the robot suit kicking some ass is absolutely hilarious and satisfying. Must get!

Henry Hatsworth Review

Megan A. Boyer, Amazon
28 January 2013
  • Summary: I purchased this game because of a recommendation by Amazon. I own, and enjoy, all of the Professor Layton games and because of that, Amazon recommended this game. I love it! It can be tricky to remember to switch back and forth between the top and bottom screens, but it's all part of the game. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes the PL games, and/or other puzzle DS games.

Game works

Mister Rockett "Mister Rockett", Amazon
30 December 2012
  • Summary: Can't really ask for more than a working game. Although odd how it had three save files all taken up by stuff. Game itself is pretty awesome, glad I bought it.

I really enjoyed this game

M. Norton "peggy n", Amazon
7 October 2012
  • Summary: I'm a 56 yr old mom who has little time for relaxing and when I do relax it's on my stationary bike. I use the time to catch up on my ds games and this one has to be the most entertaining one I've found in a long while. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to enjoy this game; just turn the volume down put on some good jazz and play the game and of course pedal like crazy!!

A ridiculously entertaining game

Pedro Luchini de Moraes, Amazon
11 March 2012
  • Summary: It's beautiful both visually and aurally, with a funny script and an outrageous story, but the standout is the mixed gameplay of block-matching and action-platforming. A game like Henry Hatsworth could not exist on any platform other than the DS, and EA Tiburon deserve kudos for having designed and developed this dazzling display of dual-screen dexterity.

On a quest to retrieve the golden suit (marioland mode) HH powers up from clever strategic play on the Tetris puzzle.

AgogoLive, Amazon
14 January 2012
  • Summary: On the holy grail to find and retrieve the 8-9 pieces of a magical golden suit (marioland adventure mode), HenryH renews his strength and boosts his powers to do so from some quick and clever strategic play on the colour puzzle. Two games in one. Very "ye olde" English all the way. The dialogue is garbled on purpose (supposed to be funny) which I've found rather annoying. HH's conversation with a young apprentice prompts and gives instruction on the gameplay.

One of the best 2D Platformers of the generation if not all time

Blujay1524, Amazon
1 December 2011
  • Summary: I've been playing video games for 15 years now, I am not easy to impress, I've been harshly critical of the Wii/360 generation in terms of originality and the emphasis on online play over campaign modes. I've played any 2D platformer game that matters, and I own more systems then you can count.
