Hasbro Family Game Night DS Review
30 May 2010
Excerpt: “Play your favourite games!” boasts the back of the box, complete with illustrative screenshot mock ups of Connect 4 , Battleship , Operation and Bop It! Fair enough, board games are a great way to spend social time with family and friends, nothing better than a good punch up over Mayfair or rent...
Conclusion: Just as Hasbro's worldwide "Family Game Night" campaign is designed to promote the social benefits of playing board games with family and friends, the video game counterparts from EA can also pack in plenty of fun at such gatherings.
Excerpt: Out of the collection, I only played Connect 4 during my childhood years. I knew of the rules in Battleships, vaguely knew what you had to do in Operation, and never heard of Bop It!. So personally, the line-up of games doesn’t do it for me.
Pros: If the line-up of games impresses you, I suppose…, May keep children occupied (no offense, kids)
Cons: Only four games in this collection, No online modes, You’re unlikely to play for any substantial amount of time
