Summary: I got this game at gamestop and decided to try harvest moon out so this is my first harvest moon game XD It has never frozen yet (yet) idk if it will but it hasn't frozen like the reviews say. I find it very fun and I actually play it more than animal crossing which I got a few weeks before I got this game. You can choose the town you live in, and you can also move to a different town if you don't prefer that town.
Summary: Growing up, I played Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for the gameboy advance and later bought More Friends of Mineral Town so I could play as a girl and have a cleaner play-through (and all the weird bugs were fixed). I decided to try Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns for the 3DS hoping that the story and game play would remind me of why I loved playing the gba version so much. Unfortunately, this is not the game to rekindle one's love for Harvest Moon.
Summary: Well I read plenty of reviews that said it had freezing issues which I thought was quite the problem, but I felt that the issues were caused by running the 3D element. It was quite a bit cheaper than the DS version and it had the petting mini-game, so I went ahead and got the 3DS version, thinking that, either way I don't get 3D so why not spend less money? I was right!
Summary: If you really want to play this game but don't feel like paying 50 bucks for the DS version and don't want to get the glichy 3DS version, I'm happy to say that the digital version, available through the 3DS eShop, seems to be fixed! I have been playing this a lot and haven't encountered any problems at all, so if you're a fan of the series and want to play this fantastic game I'd recommend you to get it through the eShop.
Summary: This game is really fun. So fun that I have trouble putting it down. BUT There's a huge problem. The game freezes often and you loose all that data since you had last saved. AND you can only save once "per day" on the game. So pretty much you loose a lot of your recent data since you woke up your character in the game. Honestly, this game would be perfect if there was no freezing.
