Summary: I bought probably all the Harvest Moon entries after the original DS and DS-Cute, including the Wii and PSP platform offerings and the Rune Factory games. I didn't play any of them for more than a day or two because I didn't like the graphics or controls or story line. I tend to measure all HM games against the DS and Cute versions. That said, Sunshine Islands has kept my interest for several days. But there are things about it that drive me nuts.
Summary: i wasnt really impressed with this game as it was very difficult to play as these days games developers are getting more and more advanced but there will be people out there who can play these games and get one over on the games developers. try the nintendo DS cheat cartridge NO PROBLEM AT ALL.
Summary: I love the harvest moon franchise, I played the first gamecube version to death and only wished it had more content. The first version for the ds was also brilliant, and when my copy broke, I decided to try a new one. The plot of this was intriguing, the sunstone/islands it obviously intended to slow down the game and introduce more of a rewards system; however you have to befriend the entire town before you can really collect sunstones.
Summary: I bought this for my wife who has spent months playing The Rune Factory Frontier but she says that I should have taken more notice of the previous reviewer who complained that there is no time to complete all the tasks you are faced with during the working day. She also made this complaint when she first tried Rune Factory Frontier but she overcame that problem in fairly short order.
