Better the 2nd time around

Gaming Mama, Amazon
21 February 2010
  • Summary: This will sound strange....but I actually LOVED this game the 2ND time I played it thru. The first time, (I will agree with some of the other reviewers here) I was definitely NOT impressed with the wonky arrow and all the stairs. And my game DID freeze on me twice when Ron and Hermione got in my way and I had to start the level over again. I just bought the Half Blood Prince for the DS.....and THAT game really made me appreciate THIS game a lot more.

  • Summary: I'd recommend this to all gamers. I cannot award it anything below five stars. It truely is an exceptional game!
  • Pros: Great Graphic, Follows the Story and Worth the Money you pay/
  • Cons: None really - but it could be made a bit more difficult.

Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix

Dynise C. Day, Amazon
12 January 2009
  • Summary: I enjoyed this game. My favorites include the exploding snap and gobstones mini-games. Myrtle got quite annoying. I am terrible on the Quidditch and the Charms class. Had to let the youngsters field those troublesome spots for me. I Love the Endless Day and the ability to move about Hogwarts. Of Course, this is the first video game I played. I went ahead and purchased other Harry Potter games and the following platforms for myself and family to enjoy.

I Really Enjoyed This

Hungry Smarf, Amazon

  • Summary: This game is great. I love the graphics. Sure, this game is not the most visually stunning thing in the world, but it was not horrible. The game is fun to play; progress is notable and the game has a couple of different things to do (mini games and the like). My only complaint is that you have to complete a stage or task in order to save the game. You cannot automatically save. I have a great time playing this.

Much better than other reviewers would have you think

O'Neill, Amazon
14 January 2008
  • Summary: I am actually writing this review on behalf of my 9 year old daughter. She absolutely loves this game. Other reviewers have mentioned "all of stairs" you have to climb. She said it is no big deal and actually added to the fun of the game. She really enjoys playing this game and likes that they have actual scenes from the movie when you get to the end. I made a couple of potions, too, and it was fun and entertaining.

Very Amusing

A. Lopez, Amazon
26 June 2007
  • Summary: I bought the game today at Walmart, and even though I am only 6% complete, I still find the desire to share my experiences with it. I'll admit it: the graphics are pretty bad BUT there isn't much you can expect for a DS game. So for a DS game, the graphics are pretty good. Final Fantasy III, so far, has the best DS graphics that I've seen. The game opens up in Little Whinging with Dudley but right after the dementors attack, you find yourself in Grimmauld Place.

great game

mizzy, Dooyoo

  • Excerpt: Brilliant game, very true to the film. You play mainly Harry, but you can also control ron and hermione when you have duels with the Slytherins. The game starts in Grimauld Place, Harrys godfathers house, where a secret society is hiding, here you can practice some skills and spells, which you use the stylus for. You then go to school and you can have lessons in all the same ones as the book.

  • Conclusion: brilliant game, tho there is alot of running around to do and the little compass annoys me sometimes i think this game rocks, good use of the stylus and buttons, and nearly passing our blowing the flames is always good also a brill selection of games.. and you can play quidditch, think its in the afterschool games section on the notice boards.

superb, amazing, brilliant

dippylala, Play.com
20 December 2007
  • Conclusion: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the best DS game I've ever bought. If you are a true Harry Potter fan (like myself) you will thoroughly enjoy exploring Hogwarts, playing Quidditch for Gryffindor, completing your O.W.Ls, duelling and lots more! But i am a little confused right at the end when there's no compass to show you the way and you are just stuck doing anything, gets bit frustrating.
