Summary: Very disappointed in this game HP&The Deathly Hallows Part 2 - it was nothing like HP and the Half Blood Prince. It had no hints when you got stuck and I found controlling Harry with the mouse to be very difficult. (I had played HP and the Half Blood Prince just fine with my laptop?mouse so I know it wasn't anyting on my end.) At one point, I got stuck and I couldn't turn back.
Summary: when i bought this game and the half blood prince game for my pc i installed first the half blood prince and beat it in 3 days i had a lot of fun.then i installed the deathly hallows part 1 and when i moved the mouse it was slow it was hard to even play it so i unistalled the game and then isntalled it was stilled the same so i have not even played the game since that day. i've tried to fixed it but nothing work. please tell me if its my computer or the game.
Summary: This has got to be the most frustrating experience. We were so looking forward to this game coming out. Purchased it for Christmas (TWO years ago), then could not get it to run on ANY computer. It will load, but then has an error immediately upon any attempt to run the game. I've looked online for any success at solving this error, but nothing works. Most of them recommend new video cards or new computers.
Summary: UUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHH. Well this one had a lot of problems compared to the previous games. It didn't feel like Harry Potter at all. I know its harder because you're not at Hogwarts, but in either the books or the movies you never were at constant battle with death eaters or snatchers. The best thing I can say about this game is its prob the second best shooter I've played, so If you really like call of duty and you want it to be the same thing except for magic this is for...
Summary: I was really excited to get this game. I've played all the games and was ready to get this game. First of all, it wouldn't play right, every time you loaded the game it would freeze. So I changed computers and it worked fine, right up until I entered the game. The camera position was very hard to use and every time you moved a fraction of an inch, the camera would just shoot off in a crazy direction. My game had so many bugs.
Summary: I've played all the HP games and this one is so far below acceptable I can't believe EA would put its name on the case. The controls are clunky and the game has no purpose. It's like someone threw a bunch of scenes from the movie together and then had you try to shoot at some "bad guys". Don't waste your money. I'm thankful I'm only out the $16 for the PC version and didn't spend the cash on the WII version - I'd really be upset!
Summary: I got the game today (for PC) and, as with all the other games, I use a Saitek gamepad. Well, the controls on this game are FAR less controllable and I feel as if I'm half blind most of the time. Too many different buttons are needed to perform tasks and it...is...just...awful. Too much aggravation and frustration and not enough satisfaction. I hope Part 2 is better. Follow up: Part 2 stunk as well.
Summary: I play a lot of video games and i bought this one on discount thinking i would give it a shot and at least have something to play while i wait for some big games to come out. However, I wish i could return it to the discount bin. The graphics are not that good at all. I have a very fancy SLI rig that plays Cryptic without any problems and yet this game just pukes and dies. The controls don't make much sense and the camera location makes me sick.
Summary: I was very excited for this game. I liked the previous Harry Potter games. But as soon as I started this game, it instantly made me motion sick. The 3D part is extremely hard to deal with and control. After a couple of minutes, I had to turn it off because it made me so sick. I am thinking of returning this game.
