Summary: I'm a 70 year old grandmother who LOVES Harry Potter. This is the first game of Harry Potter that I bought for my Nintendo DS. I think I should get one of the previous games, though. I am enjoying this one, but get hung up on potion making. I'm just not fast enough for some of them. But I'm determined!! So, I guess that means I really like the challenge of the game!
Summary: I've played the Harry Potter Game Boy Advance games on the DS....as well as HP 4,5 and 6 on the DS platform. I was really looking forward to this game and I have to say....it was a HUGE let down for me. CONS: * From the start, the graphics are mediocre. The characters still don't speak, there are subtitles for the conversation. * The lack of conversation wouldn't have been so bad...if there was SOME background music.
Summary: First off this is a great game. This is one of my favorite games. I had this game origanaly on DS. It wasn't the greatest the screen was far to small. I later got a DSi XL I have to say the game is much more fun now. Pros: In dept plot, good chalenge, good story line does not leave you clue less about what happend. Cons: Potions are agrivating with out the DSi XL, spells are bassicaly stuppify and expecto patroam. Overal great game.
Summary: I thoroughly enjoy playing Harry Potter videogames. Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince for PS3 are especially good, in that they really bring the stories to life and make you feel as though you're part of the action, especially in the way that they designed the map to be continuous. I love pretty much all the HP games that I've played so far - EXCEPT for this game and Order of the Phoenix for DS.
