No "Ham-Country"

Amazon
2 January 2007
  • Summary: Before I got this game, I thought it looked kinda cute. When I played it, it was okay, but pretty boring overall. You can teach your hamster to talk, which was kind of fun but sometimes I said one thing, and it thought I said another thing.

Disappointed

AG, Amazon
27 December 2006
  • Summary: Yes the Hamsterz are cute...but after a while they do and say the same things, and nothing new really happens after you've acquired all of the items. You can teach them to play with a toy, only to find that a minute later they have forgotten how to, and you have to sit there and wait for them to...

BEWARE!!!

Amazon
21 December 2006
  • Summary: This game has a MIS-PRINT on the box and description!! It says that this has a Ham-Country with a bakery, school, playground, bookstore, etc. THAT'S NOT TRUE!!! If you are buying the game for that reason, dont do it! You will be very disappointed!

This Game is Rubbish!

GlitteringRuby, Play.com
9 January 2011
  • Conclusion: What is the point of this game? All you do is clean up after, feed and occasionally play a game with some hamster. First, I was hooked. Secondly, I got bored. Then I atopped playing altogether! Avoid this game.

Hamsterz Life - not the best, but not the worst.

mandasapa..., Ciao
19 April 2010
  • Excerpt: The Game The game in general looks really quite nice, although I do think it can be a little strange at times. In the game you choose a hamster to raise and care for. You do things like feed the hamster, clean the cage, stroke the hamster, let it out to have a run around and if you have a friend who...
  • Pros: A talking hamster can be quite a novelty, quite quirky
  • Cons: Can get a little boring quickly

Better Than The Bunny Version

purplescubababe, Amazon
3 May 2009
  • Summary: I've also got the bunny version of this game and I found that this game is more realistic (to find out why the bunny version isn't as realistic as the hamster version, go on to my review about Bunnyz). The "z" games are all very similar, just different pets I suppose.

A bit boring, but OK overall

  • Summary: So, you choose your hamster, you feed it, you teach it words (a bit weird but funny), and play mini games. Not very fun, especially if you are more then 10, but nice for young children. Very simple to use, doesn't offer much, but the hamsters are cute and realistic.
