Summary: I guess you could say that about any game, that it gets old. But Guitar Hero was a very exciting game to own, however, it's uncomfortable to play for a long time which means that after about 2 months of owning it, I was hardly playing on it due to hand cramps. I guess theres not much they can do to improve the layout of the game but there you go. It is a fun game if you can withstand the discomfort, maybe I'm just a wimp. You get to unlock new guitars, play bass, guitar.
Summary: A fantastic game, only let down by ergonomics, because gameplay layout encourages you to hold your wrist at an awkward angle. I still recommend this, so long as you don't play it for too long at a time.
Summary: I have both Guitar Hero On Tour and on Tour Decades, and Decades is definately the best, as per previous review you can see the great song list. Guitar Hero is definately a must for any DS owner, although beware 'no pain, no gain', find a position thats comfortable for you to see the screen and play, which also rests your arm and wrist as your in for a serious work out!
Conclusion: I'm a fan of the guitar hero series, and I thought I would invest in a DS version, I personally did not enjoy the game for the fact that I found the control difficult to hold and found it slipped out of my hand easily. I gave it 3 stars though as the song choice is excellent on this game. It could just be me, but I find it awkward to play, but if you managed the first ds version then you will really enjoy this due to the quality song set.
Conclusion: I love the GH series have 2 and 3 and World Tour on the Xbox 360, thought I would like the DS version, the game is good fun and typical of the series, but I was not that happy with the controller grip. Found I couldn't grip it well without twisting my wrist which wasn't the most comfortable after a while and it had a habit of the grip popping out of the slot. If they changed the way the grip worked then I would recommend it.
