Summary: The game play was alright, though a little frustrating at times. My biggest complaint was that the game's music selection was pretty terrible. 80's rock is some of the best rock, but they just kinda chose some pretty obscure titles for this game. Even the modern titles were a bit obscure; I didn't care for them. With a game like guitar hero, the song titles is what makes or breaks the game. In this case, coupled with the frustrating controls, it broke the game.
Summary: So, I am biased because I'm left-handed and playing this game was awful. I'm sure that it's really fun, but alas, I will never find out because of the awkward experience I had. Basically it REQUIRES you to use the stylus through the whole game, and I normally use my left hand for that. So, moving around using the d-pad is impossible and awkward at best use the ABXY buttons.
Excerpt: I bought this game with a great deal of excitement as I love the Guitar Hero games for the playstation and the Xbox. However Guitar Hero D.S didnt really give me the challenge or the thrill that I normally get from playing these games. So What Went Wrong? The first thing I noticed that was disappointing about this game was the fact that there was only four buttons to play with instead of the usual five on the other consoles.
