Tron Evolution

Family Friendly Gaming
25 April 2013
  • Excerpt: It is fabulous to find something on clearance. It is even better when it is between one dollar and two dollars. That is precisely what I found Tron Evolution for at a local retailer. Part of my brain said: “this game will suck if it sells for that low.” Another part of my grey matter said: “give it a shot it might be worth it.” Like many video games out there, Tron Evolution has good and bad.

Guitar Hero On Tour Decades

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: I have been into music for a very long time. In fact I written a few praise and worship hymns to God. I did not expect any glorifying God in Guitar Hero On Tour Decades, even though it would be a great idea for a video game. What shocked me was the control scheme. This DS game does not feel like playing a guitar. The home console versions of Guitar Hero do feel like playing a guitar. So the translation from home console to hand held got a little lost in translation.

Game Boyz
15 October 2009
  • Excerpt: The Guitar Hero franchise has become a household name and a mega-hit for Activision and Red Octane. It has not only been a mainstay on next-generation platforms but it is now firmly entrenched on the Nintendo DS as well. Guitar Hero: On Tour was the first time the franchise had made its way to the DS and it did so with a big splash. The killer set list and the ability to play Guitar Hero on the go made it a must have for DS owners and Guitar Hero fans alike.

The Second DS Installment of Guitar Hero DS Suffers the Same Problems

Game Informer
22 September 2009
  • Excerpt: As the second Guitar Hero DS title released in less than six months, you might expect that Decades is fairly similar to the original On Tour. Mostly, you'd be right. However, Vicarious Visions deserves praise for improving this game in a couple of areas. Firstly, the soundtrack is much more appealing to fans of the ''big boy'' version, featuring some dynamic rock songs new and old.

Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades

Game Over Online
15 January 2009
  • Excerpt: Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades marks the fourth Guitar Hero installment of 2008, the second for the Nintendo DS behind Guitar Hero On Tour, which introduced the music rhythm franchise to handheld gamers, back in June. Seeing how only six months has passed since the release of On Tour, it’s no surprise that Decades presents little more than a new set list to rock out to. But is an increase in song choice reason enough to keep this show on the road?

Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades

Nintendo World Report
19 December 2008
  • Summary: Same problems, different game.
  • Pros: It's Guitar Hero on the road!, Some really cool songs in this sequel, Track streaming and stacking the difficulty rewards are great additions
  • Cons: "Dirty Little Secret"? Really? The modern age is just sad, Guitar Grip still causes carpal tunnel syndrome, Throwing "Bass/Rhythm" in there offsets stacked rewards
