Summary: If your child has played other DS games like Mario this will not be a hit. My 5 year old does not like it even though he loves Diego. Diego talks a lot during the game. Most of the game is him talking while showing different pictures & then you get to play a very simple mini-game. It's a nice game for the very young (under 4) & those who get frustrated with more difficult games.
Excerpt: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ INTRODUCTION ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Nintendo DS is a great little handheld that appeals to kids and adults alike because of its ease of use, form factor and interactivity. That said, one of the most frustrating aspects of buying a DS game for pre-schoolers (My daughter is four, going on fourteen) is that there is very little information available about them – both pre and post release.
Conclusion: We bought this for our daughter who is 3 and a half yesterday, and she completed it in about an hour. There are 4 profiles you can play the game with however it is the same trail you follow. There are little games along the way like moving rocks out the way, banging the drum or shouting or blowing into the microphone. There is only a slight variation in each game and these three actions are essentially all there is master.
