Summary: I saw this game for $7.99 on Amazon, and I thought I'd throw it in with some other stuff I was ordering. It's very well worth it! Pros: The story is very humorous and well-written. Great Greek myth feel to it Combat is fun and challenging Cons: Some repetitiveness Some characters aren't quite as developed as others Some of the pop culture references (there are a few) may annoy people.
Summary: The story starts out slow, but it gets better the longer you play it. The battle system is excellent and fun. Characters could use a bit more development for my taste, but I like them still. It's a good JRPG.
Summary: I enjoy playing it still. I bought this game about a week ago, and have yet to beat it, but only because I don't play all day, and I take my time, and I don't know if it is just me but I feel the need to search every nook and cranny just in case. :) I gave the game a 4/5, because it is a older game. The fighting style is turn based, ALMOST looks like a checkers game, where you can choose where you want to attack and then do it, and afterwards I always shout "King Me".
Summary: This game is a great RPG for the DS. It is more of a mature flavor than some other DS titles, but not inappropriate for kids. The battle tactics are where this game really stands out. Like many RPGs the characters become more powerful through experience and by acquiring new weapons, armor, and items. The Greek mythology is an interesting flavor. Boss battles are challenging, but not so much that they are frustrating.
Summary: I'm a fan of RPG's and fantasy games, and this one fits the bill. It is true that the monster encounters can get a little tiring, but you can purchase items that make monster encounters less. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because the story gets a little confusing and convoluted, and if you put the game down for a few days you're no longer sure of what's going on at all.
Summary: As one of the other commenters said this was a great deal on amazon a few months ago. I'm super backlog on DS games and I finally got around to playing it the last few weeks. I think I'm about a quarter of the way through. To be honest the first hour of this game was actually really really boring and the battles were pretty tedious so I ended up using "auto" for all the battles (there is a button that just lets the AI of the game battle for you but you have to press this...
Summary: The game is fun if you are looking for a challenge at times. I like that when you are casting spells, you can do mini games with the styles to power up the attack. The graphics are good but not great.
