Summary: I saw this game for $7.99 on Amazon, and I thought I'd throw it in with some other stuff I was ordering. It's very well worth it! Pros: The story is very humorous and well-written. Great Greek myth feel to it Combat is fun and challenging Cons: Some repetitiveness Some characters aren't quite as developed as others Some of the pop culture references (there are a few) may annoy people.
Summary: Glory Of Heracles is a lot of fun. The combat system has some really interesting design, including an optional spell boosting mini-game and an 'ether' system that requires the player to consider strategy if they want to win. Aside from a few hiccups, the story is solid and interesting, and the character interaction is often hilarious.
Summary: I'm a huge strategy fan, having cut my teeth on the Disgaea series. This game is predicated on a pretty simple combination of strategy and JRPG combat. It's easy to pick up, and there are a few nuances to combat that make it reasonably engaging. That said, at no point is it very clever, it does pretty much nothing original or impressive, and while the sprites are OK (I'm a big fan of 2D art), they're not impressive to the point of making a marked improvement in a...
Summary: I ordered this product from Tony's Extensive Game Collection because it seemed interesting and it was a good price. I was prepared to wait even though the person that I ordered it from had a promise of four days or less. My package arrived within four days. From California, I live in Pennsylvania. It was in excellent condition. I got the collector's edition so I got the gamer's manual and the original box and everything too, which were all in perfect condition.
Summary: I loved this game. Took a long time to complete over 45 hours of play time for me. I had fun and found the story line interesting. only thing I would have changed was being able to use more of my equipment at one time. 2 items in my pouch wasn't quite enough with all the cool items this game has. also in order to find out what items you havent obtained you have to visit the start screen. I would have made this in game instead.
Summary: It's actually a pretty good game except for one huge issue. You have to walk with the stylus. That's right no D pad option. This is a deal breaker. It slow down the game and takes a lot of fun out of it. This cost it a star in my book.
