What a Surprise! What an Experience!

Summary: Superb. Emotional. Fantastic. I simply cannot stop praising what I think is one of the best games I have ever played, and I have played quite my share of them. In the same vein of hits like Phoenix Wright (same creator) but with a wonderful, puzzle-centric ghost twist. What a game. Do not miss out on it. When we support games like these, we encourage creativity and don't allow it to die. Superb. Congrats, Capcom.
Summary: It's not often I rave about a game: I'm pretty picky (see my other reviews), however, this game was so addictive, in many ways. The art is unique, stylized, and well done. It reminds me of Street Fighter Alpha, a little over the top, however, I'm pretty sure the characters are 3D models, or I'm even more impressed with the quality and smoothness of the animations! The game play is simple and new, yet can get very complicated.
Summary: I started playing this on my iPhone one night when I couldn't sleep and I loved it. When I found out that it was available on my DS, I did what I could to get my mitts on it. It was totally worth it. This game is a gem and lots of fun. You'll get hooked in by the plot and the characters that you'll find it difficult to put down. It rocks.
Summary: This is a game that truly uses all of the potential of the Nintendo DS. The story lines are clever, the characters are intriguing, the graphics are visually easy to follow and artistic at the same time, the gameplay is intuitive and somewhat challenging. I had to buy this again when my friend borrowed it and the loaned it out to another friend and so on. It is definitely worth having if you have a ds.
Summary: If you liked Ace Attorney, then you'll love this game. You'll notice very subtle similarities between the two games. Sound/Gesture wise. I would avoid listening to any of the theme songs on Youtube before you complete the game. I saw a thumbnail on Youtube that spoiled the ending a bit for me. So I'd be careful, and listen to your favorite sound track after you complete the game.
Summary: I've been on a DS binge lately and bought this game at the same time I bought Last Window: Secret of Cape West (UK Import) and Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past . I haven't played Jake Hunter but I started Ghost Trick right after playing Last Window - two very different mystery stories indeed!
Summary: Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is an absolutely great game that probably did not sell as well as it really should. Even if you don't like the gameplay, which in and of itself is great, all other areas of Ghost Trick shine: the story is great, engaging, and surprising, the music is both memorable and fitting, and the visuals are great with the animation receiving the attention it deserves.
