Summary: I had geometry Wars Evolved 2 on the Xbox 360 and i must say, while my favorite level from it, pacifism, isnt in this version, this is an extremely fun and addictive game. it takes a bit of getting use to using the touch screen to shoot if your use to other console versions or PC. But this is a very fun game and for the price I paid for it through the seller, New Hampshire Wholesalers, for 5 bucks was a steal.
Summary: This game definetly isn't bad at all. I will say though that its more for right handed people, because even though there is a left handed option, it feels akward. I would stick with the right handed option if you're a lefty and want to play this game.It will feel a little uncomfortable at first , but you'll get used to it. The game itself is casual, but addicting.
Summary: I just received the game today, the shipping was amazing it came 3 days earlier than expected. The packaging was great, and the game itself was too. Overall i am very pleased and excited with my purchase, Great game and a great buy..
Summary: I feel this game was just okay. Then again, that maybe has something to do with the fact that I never actually felt the need to download and buy the full version of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved for Xbox 360. I was just happy enough with the free demo. Or maybe that doesn't have much to do with it at all. Anyway, I thought I'd like this game more than I did, but for some reason, it didn't seem to quite catch my interest in the way I'd hoped.
Summary: this game should be bundled with all DS systems...it represents all that hand held gaming should be about..short bursts of frenetic colour, sound and energy that works as a pick up and play and best of all its FUN...just when you feel you need a 10 min blast in the arcade to liven up your reflexes and senses, put in some earphones and play this.....Superb old style shooter that still feels fresh today......BUY......
Summary: This was a very fun, entertaining game. It had simple controls, and a lot of cool maps. I had a neat little "drone" that help you with you mission and you could select what it was going to to/be (snipe, turret, collect the geoms etc.) and you could level it up by winning (or losing, as long as you get a certain amount of points) one problem I have with this game is that the main way to shoot is with the touch screen (you can shoot with the buttons but it's not very...
Summary: Graphically, it's a step down from the XBLA version. Most people would expect this, I suppose, but I thought that since the DS is capable of some decent 3D graphics that they would be able to pull off a pretty close port of Geometry Wars. It still looks good, but it's got a very different feel, for me, now that all the sprites are 2D. The touchscreen is great. You can choose to play with or without it.
Summary: Just a FYI... this is the UK version of the game! I just ordered it and received the UK version and after talking to Amazon on the phone, this is the only seller selling this game so it's either UK or nothing. However, the Nintendo DS is region free so it should play perfectly fine. As for the game itself... it's very fun. There are tons of levels so you'll never get bored.
Summary: I think this Nintendo DS version of Geometry Wars is the best one available. Sure, it started on the XBox 360, and you can get the Wii and PC versions, but this version is truly the best. It has multiple levels, unlike other versions. The stylus control along with the D-pad are a natural way of controlling the game (much better than analog controls on the Xbox). I can't recommend this high enough.
