Average arcade-style romp has a bit of cartoon violence.

Common Sense Media
10 August 2010
  • Summary: Parents need to know that Galactic Taz Ball is an arcade-style game that pits Taz and the henchmen of Marvin the Martian in battles with violence roughly on par with Looney Tunes cartoons. It's single player only, and not particularly long.

Galactic Taz Ball (DS) Review

411mania.com
27 July 2010
  • Summary: The game's premise isn't bad, but it's definitely not a satisfying overall experience. There are calls for re-playability in the game; they have a "time to beat" goal as well as 5 hidden kiwi bird statues to find in each level, but all you end up unlocking by finding them are concept art scenes and other non-useful extras. The music and graphic are both middle-of-the-road, leaving an overall average performance.

Galactic Taz Ball (DS) Review

Vooks
18 May 2010
  • Excerpt: games of old have had a scattered record. Some of them have been brilliant, but most of them have been terrible. This time, WB has enlisted the experts at WayForward to bring Taz the Tasmanian Devil to the Nintendo DS. Taz here in Australia is an idol, so when a game comes out about him we all stand up and pay attention, seriously. So how has our fair national idol been treated this time around?

Galactic Taz Ball

Ready Up
14 August 2010
  • Summary: Galactic Taz Ball is not the most brilliant game I've ever played, it can be very tricky to control, as Shannon says. Sadly for a game inspired by a cartoon, the graphics are of a pretty poor standard which is a shame as there have been many more great Taz games on lesser systems. The saving grace with this game may be that it is a budget game and has some longevity to last a while.
