Summary: I feel this series has often missed out on the limelight that it deserves (especially since square was such a heavy hitter in the 90's and early 2000's). Front Mission 3 for the playstation (it's on PSN) is one of my favorite games of all time. This is the first title to kick off the series and it is incredible, even though it is a remake this is the best platform you could hope to play it on, the double-screen display really serves to immerse the player.
Summary: I fell in love with Front Mission 3 & 4 so I tracked this down. It's a difficult game, but more in the layout than anything else. I think I was expecting something more along the lines of the newer games. I'd recommend to give it a try, it's just not for me.
Summary: This game has me hooked already, I recommend front mission games to anyone who enjoys Final Fantasy Tactics and giant robots! You can customize each mech from their legs to what kind of weapons they will hold/have on their shoulder.
Summary: Unfortunately thats about all I can say. I love the series but this version had poor delivery. Stale, horrible color pallet and even the animation looked rushed. However, It is still a Front Mission game... The gameplay is typical of a Tactics game and flows as such. I'd advise only fans of the FM series grab this one. With that said; I am still grinding away at it and haven't abandoned it yet.
Summary: Kind of game we don't find anymore...Interface is a pleasure, good "looking" (images), turn per turn, scenario ok, customisation of the robots... At once a turn per turn game not only designed for childs. If you like turn per turn games, go for it you won't regret.
Summary: I have played front mission for playstation 1 and for playstation 2 both of which I enjoyed this seems to focus more on the roleplaying part of the title than any of the other aspects of the game that I enjoyed from preavious versions than I would like
