Summary: I've been a fan of the Final Fantasy series since the mid 90's... I remember playing Final Fantasy II (IV) on my Super Nintendo, and it was a great game overall. When I learned that Square released it on the Nintendo DS, I knew that I wanted to play the game again. What I didn't realize was that the game was given a 3D overhaul in terms of the graphical presentation, and I was pleasantly surprised as to how great Cecil and company looked in 3D.
Summary: Wow! What can really be said about such a legendary game. Not only is this a very legendary, and epic adventure; it has been completely remade in 3D for the Nintendo DS. This portable console title works on 2DS, DSI, DS, and the 3DS. So no matter which DS console you own, you can play this epic adventure. It is akin to many other Final Fantasies in that it offers the old-school turn based system.
Summary: Charming 3d updates to those classic little sprites and great cinematics make this a must have for fans of the series. Translates wonderfully to the DS and brings back all sorts of cherished memories. Love it!
Summary: The 3d dungeons and character models have a good amount of charm and the voice acting is surprisingly good. The game can be unforgiving at times however, the DS remake seems to require more grinding and leveling to match some of the dungeon levels. In addition the fights seem to require more micromanaging and actual strategy (which is a welcome addition).
