Summary: Charming 3d updates to those classic little sprites and great cinematics make this a must have for fans of the series. Translates wonderfully to the DS and brings back all sorts of cherished memories. Love it!
Summary: Graphics are impressive; solid battle system, items, equipment, and storyline. Highly addictive. the augment feature adds a challenge to those who want to earn 100% completion on everything and grab gear that carries over to new game+
Summary: The 3d dungeons and character models have a good amount of charm and the voice acting is surprisingly good. The game can be unforgiving at times however, the DS remake seems to require more grinding and leveling to match some of the dungeon levels. In addition the fights seem to require more micromanaging and actual strategy (which is a welcome addition).

Summary: Oh how I miss the era of 90's games, where the JRPG was king. There were many gems during that time, but Final Fantasy IV will always have a special place in my heart. The definition of a JRPG classic, FFIV was a pioneer landmark that truly ushered in an age where video games could tell a complex story just as well as any movie or novel.
Summary: I never got the chance to play FF4 on the older gen consoles but I loved it on the DS. The story is compelling, the characters are enjoyable and the game play is challenging. Considering how most games are $60 now on the PS4 and Xbox One, getting a game with 30+ hours for $20 is a steal. I highly recommend it!
