  • Summary: I first played this game way back in 2006 when it came out for the DS. I enjoyed the game so much. It was very outdated even at that time, and 9 years after, it still is. But this exact reason, this could be WHY this game is very suited for hardcore JRPG fans. The story is as simple as it can get.

  • Summary: Disclaimer: This is a retro-RPG. That means less saves, less graphics, and harder difficulty. If you are a fan of the series, and specifically if you like FF1 or FF5, this is a great game.

  • Summary: I want to treat 2 aspects of the game, first being the game itself and second being Square-Enix. Having never played Final Fantasy III this has been an absolute joy. I started the series with 6, followed by 7, 8 and 9 on the PSX and since then no Final Fantasy game has been able to grab in me the...

  • Summary: It's a good game, almost a legend between all Final Fantasy games. BUT, this version is almost de same as the one of Nintendo DS or iPhone/Android phones, no changes made. If you ignore this fact, you'll love the game.

  • Summary: Back in '07, I picked up this game, because it sounded cool. This was my first FF game. At first, I had no Idea what was going on, and it pretty much stayed that way for the entire game. Seeing the different spells and abilities from different jobs was fun.

  • Summary: it's great and all that square enix finally released a remake of the japan-exclusive final fantasy 3, but there are some flaws. when i first played the game, i was expecting to play as the onion knight (of course). i was plain wrong. you play as luneth and 3 others.

  • Summary: Pros- Great graphics, and great new feature of using the stylus for playing and going through your menus. I've had it for several weeks and it has been fun. I enjoy it alot. Battles are pretty quick and easy to control with the DS stylus feature.

  • Summary: It's finally here! The final fantasy game everyone thought they had played is here for the first time since its first appearance in Japan. Many final fantasy gamers will instantly think of the characters Terra and Kefka.

Final Fantasy takes a spin on the DS

  • Summary: Ok, so if you are any kind of an RPG fan you've played Final Fantasy at some point. And up until now, you had no options on the DS unless you picked up the ones for the Game Boy Advance.

Good Fun, Tedious at Times

Scott Styles, Amazon
28 January 2008
  • Summary: This is Final Fantasy III, the sequel to Final Fantasy II in Japan. It is not Final Fantasy III as released on the Super Nintendo in the US. I found the story line engaging, but the job system was a bit frustrating. At times level grinding is necessary.
