truely awful single player experience
28 February 2011
Summary: The controls for single player make it unplayable. The AI used in lieu of co-op friends is a joke. I tried many times to finish this game, giving it chance after chance but when it takes 15+ minutes to complete individual puzzles that have easy solutions in theory but are hampered by the controls and AI when it comes to trying to implement those solutions I finally gave up. The game may be fun to play with friends but should not be considered for single players at all.
Summary: This game could have been really great, but I have to be honest... it isn't anywhere near as fun as it should be. The hype promised Diablo-like multi-player dungeon crawling, and to a certain extent, that is true, but the overall implementation is lacking, especially the controls. For each good thing going for this game, it seems to have at least one equally bad feature that actively impedes my enjoyment.

Summary: I wanted to like this game. I love the FF franchise, so I pre-ordered this game sight unseen. I figured that the games would be decent at the very least. Now after playing it, I wish I'd waited & gotten a previously used copy. So here's the good & bad of the game, starting with the good. The style is beautiful. I really liked the character designs & the storyline is pretty decent.
Summary: Une suite mal réalisée.
