Conclusion: As fun as the game is, Fossil Fighters is not without its shortcomings. Admittedly, after about the thirtieth time trying to improve on that 93 percent Pachy skull, things tend to get a little bit repetitive. Another flaw is that it's possible to build a team early in the game that can wipe the floor with the competition, giving you little reason beyond the overwhelming desire to be a vivosaur completist to really search out new vivosaurs to add to your lineup.
Summary: Fossil Fighters lets players build a collection of more than 100 fantastical dinosaurs known as “vivosaurs.” This new game incorporates elements of discovery, tactics and strategy as players try to revive and power-up battle-ready vivosaurs to battle it out on the field, or trade them via a local wireless connection.
Excerpt: Though video games have now emerged as another mainstream outlet for blockbuster entertainment, there was a time when the medium was considered to be mainly for kids. When did that change? These days, if a game doesn’t include graphic violence or incredibly complex puzzle solving, it’s likely to get panned for being “too kiddie.” Nintendo, however, hasn’t forgotten their core audience, though it seems the “hardcore” gamer thinks otherwise.
Excerpt: Gotta catch dig 'em all! Welcome to the magical world of Pokémon Fossil Fighters ! Take control of your little Pokémon Vivosaurs and battle them against the best of the... monsters on an island that looks like a dinosaur head! All you gotta do to prove yourself is to battle everyone in your path using the monsters dinos you capture dig up. Finding Pokémon fossils are easy: fire up your detector and battle dig 'em up when you've found the right spot.
Pros: Fun way of gaining new characters, Horrific, Story is not-existent, Characters are all too similar, There's something better on the market...
Pokemon-ish RPG substitutes fighting dinos for monsters.

Summary: Parents need to know that this child-oriented role-playing game has players finding dinosaur fossils and reanimating the creatures so that they can be pit against one another in battle. It feels like a Pokemon game, but the notion of innocent creatures fighting one another is a vaguely off-putting.
Summary: Fossil Fighters isn’t perfect, and it certainly doesn’t reach the level of Pokemon , but that doesn’t stop it from being an exceptionally solid game. The game mechanics are streamlined, though not lacking in depth, the presentation is solid, and the battle system is one of the best I’ve seen for a turn based game of this sort. If you’re looking for a great portable RPG fix, you can’t go wrong wit this title.
