Summary: Over the years that I have played video games I have noticed that if one reads reviews of hack'n'slash rpgs in professional gaming websites and magazines, one will find mediocre scores. The reason for this is because of the reviewers will claim repetition of hacking up enemies, level grinding, gathering items, and lack of an epic story as keeping the games from being enjoyable.
Summary: I have to admit I kept reading the reviews fearing the worst. Like so many DS games that look amazing while in production end up failing by the time they ship. So I almost didn't buy it, but being a fan of both the gaunlet and diablo series games I sucked it up and gave it a shot. So far I am pleased. Yes it is flawed graphicaly and the control reminds me of old keyboard controlled DOS games, but I am hooked, and that's where it counts.
