Summary: You must use your stylus to control the racing in this game. As a result, your right hand must constantly hit the screen with the stylus. I predict that in more demanding level/races you have to move real fast. I cannot do this with my right hand accurately. The one redeeming quality of the game are the upgrades and interaction with the racer/dragon.
Racing dragons - Dragon Booster on the Nintendo DS
23 July 2009
Excerpt: This review is for the Nintendo DS game, Dragon Booster, developed and published by Konami Computer Entertainment. Dragon Booster is a racing game, based on the children's television series of the same name. The aim of the game is that you have to race a dragon and passenger to be the first of six to cross the finishing line. You have to overtake the other five participants in the race as you start each level at the back and have to play catch up.
Pros: Multi player function, fun concept
Cons: Poor execution, hard to control, poor graphics, quite repetitive
Excerpt: Dragon Booster for the DS is based off the childrens cartoon of the same name. When I borrowed this game at blockbusters I knew straight after I started it up that I was not in for miracles but a more time consuming and bug filled venture. The thing that kept me going on this game was its brilliant musicals and sound score but apart from this I fell out of love with this game VERY FAST.
Pros: Brilliant Music and sounds
Cons: Terrible Graphics and gameplay elements, No replay Value and Multiplayer is not existent
