Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2
The Gamers Temple
7 June 2007
Excerpt: Supersonic Warriors 2 is the first Dragon Ball Z fighter to appear on the DS, with the “2” actually referring to a GBA game. So we have the second game in the series that’s the first on the DS. Got that? If you’re a Dragon Ball Z fan then I’m sure you do as it takes a certain degree of mental fortitude just to keep track of all of the various timelines and sagas within the Dragon Ball Z universe.
Excerpt: Dragon Ball started as a comical manga based on the
Chinese myth, “The Monkey King”. It was penned in 1984 by the legendary Akira
Toriyama who never imagined that his story would evolve as much as it did or
that his art style would become so legendary. The DS’ touch screen is used only as extra system buttons
and never requires you to pull out the stylus. In a game such as this, that
couldn’t be a more welcome feature.
Conclusion: Throughout play, characters will also yell out the names of their signature special attacks a they launch them providing even more well captured authenticity alongside the brand. The sounds emitted through the Nintendo DS' speakers is satisfyingly clear, concise and distinctly audible. The game's background audio tracks or well established with most games bearing the license with music that is befitting of the action onscreen.
