Summary: My daughter just loves this game! It's fun to them and it teaches them as they begin to learn but its only one episode and the game is like 20 minutes long so they beat it quick.... so it definately wont keep a lil one busy if they already know what to do. My daughter is 3 yrs old and she beat it for the first time in like 30 minutes that same day i bought it for her lol! I was amazed!
Summary: I bought each of my children an inexpensive DS game as a treat on the high street yesterday and this was my choice for my four-and-a-half year daughter. Once we were in the car, we swapped the games in their DSes for the new games and set off. My daughter seemed to be enjoying herself and was animated and vocal about the game and 10 minutes in, she announced "I did it, I did it. I finished it Mummy.
Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess (DS): Dora the Explorer save the snow princess DS game.
28 November 2011
Summary: After we bought my daughter a Nintendo DS for her fourth birthday present, one of the first games we bought was this Dora the Explorer saves the Snow Princess. It costs roughly £15 from Amazon. The game has an adventure mode where it is a bit like a story and it begins with Dora telling a story and then it is simple stuff like trying to free a bird by touching the locks to break them and that frees the bird.
Pros: Educational, helps a child practise spanish, counting, colours, shapes
Cons: Finishes quite quickly, makes the child shout at times which can give you a headache.
Summary: My 3 years old daughter completed this in one hour without any help. Fortunately she does replay every now and then to complete again.(every time she gets stuck in other more difficult games..lol) Since this game is easy, its good for her confidence.
Conclusion: I got this game for my 3 years 3 month old daughter, she absolutely loved it HOWEVER she managed to complete it in 35 minutes!! There aren't many mini games either so she will have to play the adventure over and over (whuch i'm sure she won't mind for a while) A great game if your child loves dora but probably won't last too long :(
Summary: The graphics in the game are very good and true to the original cartoon, the plot and storyline is entertaining, and my 3 year old daughter was gripped from the start. However, it took her less than a week to complete the game. My older daughter tried it out and took an hour or less to complete it.
Summary: This game was bought for my daughter who is just 5 yrs old. She managed to complete it in about 10 minutes! She found this game very easy, and I would say it is aimed more for 3 to 4 yr olds. It has Dora telling the child what to do at each stage and there arn't that many different things to do for a 5 yr old.
