Great for the very young.

  • Summary: Our daughter just turned 4 and really likes this game. From a parental prespective, it is pretty short and I would never buy for someone over the age of 4. It's too easy and short for the older kids.

  • Summary: I have a 8yr and 5 yr old. They have both played with it but the oldest got bored of the game. The Other thing is it asks them to talk back and repeat words, so if you are planning on a silent evening, that it's not going to happen.

  • Summary: We purchased this game as an introduction to the DS Lite for my 5 year old, but found that it was much too easy for her. The interest in the game was very fleeting and in less than a day, this game was put aside. Sure wish there would've bee another "girl friendly" game to choose from as we got this as a gift with purchase of our new machine.

  • Summary: I bought this game for my three year old grand-daughter and she played it for the first and then dhe jus pit it down. It is too easy for and it has too uch talking which slows it down since you have to wait until she finish speak to play the game. But it is an okay game.

  • Summary: My daughter loved this game, but completed it with no help from me in less than an hour. This was her first DS game ever and she just turned 3. Some unlocks/challenges would be nice to make the game last longer.

  • Summary: This game requires a lot of reading, and if your child has just begun to read it is very hard for them to understand the game. Maybe easier words would work for children who are just starting to read.

  • Summary: Don't buy this game if you are thinking about "mermaids." This game does not follow that theme. The main object is that Dora helps to clean the ocean after it is contaminated by a mean octopus. You play mini games like Spot the Silly Animal and Magic Crown. Most of the mini games have simple steps to follow like dodging objects and using the stylus for color and number sequencing. The graphics are good, but the games are not tied into the theme.
