AWESOME! (Dang it!)

Lurch "might be a giant", Amazon
31 August 2014
  • Summary: Really fun, but gets excruciatingly difficult at certain points -- don't even THINK about finishing all the bonus levels in your pathetic little lifetime!

old school donky king fun

Michelle Kramer, Amazon
26 July 2013
  • Summary: The game is great. It arrived quickly and was exactly as described. He only downfall is my son thinks it hard (he's 6) of course that's not a fault to the game. Hell just have to practice more or get a little older. Overall its great.

game is fine, but no case was with it.

Sue, Amazon
28 August 2012
  • Summary: I was very disappointed that this game came without a case. It was a birthday gift for a 8 year old, and the presentation was not very impressive. If I had known it did not have a case, I would have chose another item.

  • Summary: My son enjoyed it. It is very entertaining and full of action. The only minor issue is the controls of the game, a little bit confusing but he got used to it after few turns.

Donkey Kong Game

Jill S. Hunter-smith, Amazon
3 October 2011
  • Summary: My son loved the game, unfortunately there was something wrong with it. It makes his DS screen flash constantly when he tries to put it in standby so we won't let him use it any longer.

Good Game for the DS

Aaron Smith "Aaron Smith", Amazon
2 April 2011
  • Summary: Like the others say, this game is a good addition to the DS family, and have enjoyed the time I spent playing it, however I just bought the 3DS and thought I'd give the game a go again, since the 3DS doesnt really have any must have platform games out yet, but the game doesnt seem to work on the 3DS, maybe someday with an update it will but for now its one of the foreign titles that won't play.. Could be because it may have saved data to GBA slots??

fun but repetitive

T. Meyer, Amazon
7 May 2009
  • Summary: All things considered it's a good game. It's fun to play. I find it challenging enough to be entertaining, but not frustrating. It's easy to earn extra lives and "perks". Only downside is that the game (so far) is pretty repetitive - climb things, find things, go to next level. I am an average mom, mid 30's, play a bit a night for fun / entertainment. My edit / add on: having had this game for about a year now I don't play it nearly as much as I did in the beginning.

Simple and fun Donkey Kong-themed excursion for the DS

N. Durham "Big Evil", Amazon
15 March 2008
  • Summary: Taking a page from Donkey Kong: King of Swing for the GBA, DK Jungle Climber for the DS is a simple and fun excursion starring Nintendo's resident monkey mascot, as he traverses island after island grabbing bananas in pursuit of King K. Rool. Visually, the game looks pretty sharp as it uses the pre-rendered characters from the classic Donkey Kong Country games.

Great game

djaaum, Dooyoo
2 November 2009
  • Excerpt: This Donkey Kong game is just yet another wild and wacky game of the Donkey Kong series. In this Donkey Kong game, its really sort of like a challenge. You are basically Donkey Kong, and through out the levels you will need to hold on to pegs to get to different places just be pressing L and R. It really is that simple. Its also in some levels sort of like a maze. And when I say a maze I really mean a maze.
