Not quite the same as the PC version

Amazon Customer "God's Girl", Amazon

  • Summary: This game is fun. I like the fact that you don't have to "battle" anyone to finish a level, and the fact that it saves more often. It is also nice that it can save 3 profiles, so siblings can share one game card. The cooking half of this game is rather enh. It only consists of chopping a million (okay, not quite a million) different ingredients, stirring and dropping them in the pot, and plating. If you want a cooking game, go for cooking mama instead.

What the kids think of Ratatouille

Kim Karas "New England mom", Amazon
29 March 2008
  • Summary: I purchased this game for use of two children ages 8 and 9. We have a library of about 15 DS games and this is one that they ask for most often. My son plays it almost every day. Some spots are challenging for him but not so difficult that he gets discouraged. He knows other kids playing the game too so they help each other out with it. He specifically requested this game because he knows other children using it too, that was a main factor to my decision to buy.

  • Excerpt: got this for my birthday a few years ago, I had recieved a nintendo DS for christmas so afterwards all people ever bought me was DS games, this at the time was roughly £25 but you can pick it up for around £15 or less now. In the game you are the character "Remy" Remy is the main character (rat) in the film so it makes sence for the game to be about him too. GamePlay.

  • Excerpt: I got this game a couple of years ago for my Nintendo DS console as part of a combined package, which was great as it cost around £25 at the time! Whilst it is not the kind of game I would normally buy (I like puzzles and those brain training thingys) I reckoned I would give it a bash and if it was too 'young' or I didn't like it then I hadn't lost anything and could always flog it on ebay or swap it in one of the game shops for a different one. Well...!
  • Pros: Great game & suitable for different age groups .  .
  • Cons: None for me .  .

  • Excerpt: Great game, especially for big fans of the film. However I played before I watched the movie and still enjoyed it. Some levels it is easy to get Remy lost in, but thats part of the fun. Great for the younger fans as its hard to kill the mouse off and you can always get more chances by collecting cheese! Cooking rounds are simple but weirdly fun, where you chop ingredients, cook to perfection and then serve. Closely follows the movie plot.
