Summary: Digimon world championship is unlike your other normal digimon games. It's much more like monster rancher where you need to spend time feeding , training and raising your digimon and trying to evolve them. The capturing of digimon is new and fun as well but could get boring soon as actions are more or less repetitive. And in battles it is played out by AI and you can only watch. You can however select the skills to be used by your digimon and hope that it uses them.
Summary: This game probably isn't for everyone, there isn't much interaction beyond feeding, healing and moving around the sprites and you don't have any control over the battles. However, if you want a game to help pass the time while you travel, this game is perfect.
Summary: Yes, this game has its flaws. You can't control the fights while battling. However, if you are a fan of digimon, it's a fun game. You can raise your digimon from eggs to megas. I bought this game as a gift for my nephews after I had already bought a copy of this game at a store where I live and paid $19.99 for a USED game, whereas on Amazon, you can buy it for as low as $4.99 for a NEW game. I knew what I was getting into when I bought the game.
