debi, Amazon
1 January 2014
  • Summary: I couldn't find this game anywhere so I ordered this one. Said it was cleared and like new. When my granddaughter started to use it it had all the old information from the former girl on it and we couldn't get it off.

I think this is an ok game :)

Christine M. Stauffer "i luv facebook!", Amazon
23 January 2010
  • Summary: hi i am a 9 year old named holly. i would not give this a 5-star, because I think i like another diary game i have better. If you want to find out about it look up my secret world ds. Diary girl is a good game, but your charecter does not have much of a closet of clothes, colors, and hair. I think younger girls, such as mature 7 year olds and 8 year olds would be the type who play it every day. I think they came up with pretty fair games and a nice theme color: pink.

Limited Features

C. Werner, Amazon
18 August 2009
  • Summary: It can be fun, but you are very limited in all that you can do. 1.You cannot turn off the password feature. Every time you want to to play you have to type in your password; very annoying. 2. You daily journal entries are limited to 300 characters. Not nearly enough in my opinion. 3. You cannot select time for reminders. If you need to remember the time of an appointment you must type it in; & reminder space is limited to 20 characters. 4.

Fun!

Annie J. Hoffman, Amazon
29 June 2008
  • Summary: This game is really fun, and interesting. I love writing so it is good. Except that I don't like when I make mistakes. . .and when I try to do the wifi connection and it says 'nothing available,' but mistakes can be fixed and I don't want [all my] feelings shared, even with close friends. You can decorate friends, draw pictures with your stylus (or finger), write in a virtual journal, set reminders, play mini-games, create a 'My Girl,' or a you.

Little Girls Will Enjoy This

Quemadura , GameStop
13 April 2008
  • Summary: If you are a pre-teen girl or younger, you would absolutely love Diary Girl. I am a 25 year-old teacher and the main reason I bought this is to kind of replace my dying PDA. I love using my DS so when I saw Diary Girl, I was like, bingo, an organizer for my Nintendo!! Well, not so much. I told my girls from school though and they flipped over it. Almost all of them have Nintendo DS's and are crazy for secret diaries and stuff. They love it.
