  • Excerpt: Deep Labyrinth begins with a family taking a car trip. The family dog jumps out of the vehicle, and the parents go after it. Being the teenager your character mopes for a bit, and then goes looking for the entire family. He gets sucked into another dimension. The dimension is where human memories are disposed of. All kinds of weird creatures await the player. The game saving platypus is one of the strangest.

  • Excerpt: When the Nintendo DS launched, owners were thrown a barrage of titles that used the touchscreen in poor ways by developers who didn't know how to conquer the new type of interface. Top-tier games gradually got it down and Atlus USA themselves released one of the DS's best titles- Trauma Center: Under The Knife. Almost a year after their release of this fantastic title, they've chosen to localize a title that should be clumped in with those pitiful launch titles.

Deep Labyrinth Review

GameSpot
17 August 2006
  • Summary: This 3D role-playing game lets you explore many mazelike levels through the eyes of a sword-wielding hero, but crawling through its corridors often isn't much fun.
  • Pros: Basic first-person controls and touch-screen mechanics work well, Two different storylines to play through
  • Cons: Fairly clunky, simplistic combat, Highly repetitive environments and level design, Convoluted magic system is difficult to use in battle

Deep Labyrinth
