Summary: I got this for my mother in law for Christmas and of course I had to give it a trial run. I love it because it does not require batteries and has a wide spectrum of crosswords. It's taking my mother in law a little time to warm up to it because she's used to puzzles on paper, but I think she'll grow to absolutely loving it.
Summary: Bought this for a friend to whom I plan to donate my old Nintendo DS device. Figured used would be cheaper (it was) & that I could test it before giving to her. Very surprised that Maggie & Chris' games had not been erased. Realize this is a used item so expected it to be used. Just figured that, since erasing is so easy, the seller could have done so. Nothing against the game - love it which is why I wanted my word-game-loving friend to have it.
Summary: I really enjoy this game. If you don't 'get' the clues, you can easily figure it out by getting other words in the crossword part. I like the word search as well. The handwriting recognition is good once you figure out how to write an E or an A or others. My biggest struggle is the anagrams part, because sometimes I have no idea what those words are, that said, once you get that the words are alphabetical, you can usually figure out those last few by trial and error.
Summary: I have really enjoyed playing this game! I especially like the anagrams and crosswords. The word searches are okay, but it can be a bit difficult when playing the larger puzzles. On the larger word searches, you have to scroll side to side, up and down, to see all portions of the puzzle. That is the only downside to the whole thing. I play this constantly! Highly recommended for anyone who likes word games.
