Summary: I got this for my mother in law for Christmas and of course I had to give it a trial run. I love it because it does not require batteries and has a wide spectrum of crosswords. It's taking my mother in law a little time to warm up to it because she's used to puzzles on paper, but I think she'll grow...
Summary: Bought this for a friend to whom I plan to donate my old Nintendo DS device. Figured used would be cheaper (it was) & that I could test it before giving to her. Very surprised that Maggie & Chris' games had not been erased. Realize this is a used item so expected it to be used.
Summary: I have really enjoyed playing this game! I especially like the anagrams and crosswords. The word searches are okay, but it can be a bit difficult when playing the larger puzzles. On the larger word searches, you have to scroll side to side, up and down, to see all portions of the puzzle.
Summary: This game not only includes crosswords, but word finds and anagrams. All games can be selected for size (small, medium and large puzzles) and its worthwhile owning, if you want a portable pick-up and go word game similar to the penny game books you find in the grocery stores.
Summary: As a beginner to crosswords I've found the "Crosswords DS" package very good in that it starts out with basic and medium games for play. As you solve (or resolve if you like) the games new ones open up. Immediate correction is available, letter reveal, word reveal are also available.
Summary: The game is easy to use and very intutive. It did take a little while to get used to the "orientation" as it was different than my other crossword game. The only issue, if you could call it that, is it does have a little trouble recognizing some of my hand writing letters...
Summary: The crossword section if this game is a little strange. It starts with very small puzzles and moves up from there. It also contains a circle a word, and anagrams. I really like these game better than the cross words.
Summary: I have to admit it is a little easy for me but as I play it is building in difficulty. I really like it though, like the fact that the letters are large and it seems to recognize the printing or writing that I do. Easy to pick up and start and put down without losing a lot of information.
