Summary: not having any children, it would be easy for me to predict children between the ages of 5 and 12 would enjoy this game. sadly, i purchased this game for my own entertainment, and found myself quite disappointed. while the graphics were fun and (initially) promising, the game moved way too slowly for my taste. coraline moved so slowly, i was gritting my teeth as i waited for her to accomplish her tasks.
Summary: I didn't find this game at all interesting. Actually, after 15 minutes of walking around in the game, I knew it would be going back to the store for a trade-in as soon as possible. I was rather disappointed because I wanted to like it.
Summary: The game follows the story of the book, and presumably the movie (not released as of this writing), fairly closely. In fact, it's mostly a storybook of the film where you're the one moving Coraline around. The minigames found in the game are few and far between and of the most simple concept. Most of the interaction with the game beyond walking is superficial, i.e., drop a stone to see how deep a well is or move chicken legs to your plate.
